Ventura responds 'Yes, it's bulky and I consider it a carry-on' (as he confuses 'penis' for 'peanuts').Ventura makes the sounds of a Canadian moose during mating season.Opening 'Cliffhanger' take-off has suspenseful music.Ace throws a hot cigarette lighter at a man he's chasing.Ace bends over, spreads his butt cheeks and does his best Tarzan impression.Ace thrusts his pelvis back and forth in exaggerated fashion when victorious.Ace pushes down hard on a pregnant woman's stomach and her baby pops out and across the room.Ace pushes his own eye around with finger to gross out someone.Ace scrapes a knife and fork on a plate to make irritating sounds.Ace shoots 'spit balls' at man standing on pole, and gets a tribal woman to join him.A tribal chief spits in Ace's face (a sign of affection), so of course Ace must return this action.During a slide presentation, Ace uses his hand's shadow to pick the nose of the person on the slide, then bite their crotch, and then pinch the nipples on another man.Ace mocks almost everyone with exaggerated imitations.Ace is referred to as the man who 'bends over and speaks from his rear.'.Phrases: 'Poopy pants,' 'Sissy girl,' and 'Let's go kick some butt.'.A hunting rifle is pulled down from a wall.Bounty hunters are seen with knives and rifles.Two spears are thrown into Ace's thighs.A number of spears are held up to Ace's neck.A tribal chief pulls out a large knife when Ace steps on sacred ground.A slide presentation shows bounty hunters with rifles.The first view of the opposing tribe may be scary: It's night and they're dressed in weird costumes and carry sticks with skulls on the ends.A scene where Ace enters a hunter's trophy room (with animal heads on the wall) is shot in such a disorienting way that may prove scary for younger viewers.His unsuccessful effort might seem tense to younger viewers. In a spoof of the opening sequence of 'Cliffhanger,' Ace hangs from a wire trying desperately to save a racoon.Some bounty hunters overall have bad attitudes.

Ace's constant mockery could be seen as disrespectful.Upper class people at a reception look down on Ace.There is a spoof on psychic surgery - a tribesman 'pulls out' a bloody organ from a man.Ace and a tribal chief emerge from a hut covered in spit mucous (spitting is a sign of affection in the tribe).Ace regurgitates food for a baby chick.Eastern monks drink champagne when Ace leaves their monastery.

JIM CARREY plays the pet detective who spends the entire movie making weird faces and gestures, mocking others and behaving immaturely throughout.

WHY THE MPAA RATED IT: PG-13 For crude humor. Especially if they saw the original or any other Jim Carrey film. Ventura investigates the case and mocks, mimics and generally acts goofy throughout the movie. It seems the bat has spiritual meaning to two African tribes, the Wachati and Wachootoo, and if it isn't returned, the tribes will declare war on each other. PLOT: Ace Ventura (Jim Carrey) who's in retirement from the pet detective business, is hired back into active duty to find a missing bat.

QUICK TAKE: Comedy: A pet detective must find a missing bat to prevent a tribal war from breaking out.
